Happy Thanksgiving! We are so glad we get to be out of the hospital and celebrating at home in Flagstaff. What we are thankful for: - That God is powerful and good even when it doesn't seem like it. - That God gives us grace in so many ways despite our brokenness. - That we have the absolute best community that anyone could ask for. You all have carried us through this journey. - That God hears every prayer and answers so many big and small with abundant blessing. - That He gives us strength for the times His answer to our request is no. - For Lucy's amazing doctors and all the advanced medicine that is saving her life. - For all of the presents and support that is helping Lucy have fun even in the midst of hospital visits and needles and pain. - For my wonderful husband who is so good with our daughter. - For my sister and sister-in-law who have made this process possible, along with all the other family and friends who are in the first ring of support - For my boys, Josiah and David, who have sacrificed so much for their sister during this time and are doing it with grace - For our sweet Lucy, who is so much stronger then she knows. May God bless our sweet girl with a thankful heart through every trial life throws at her. And may she have an extra dose of comfort and courage for her current battle. May God give us the wisdom and strength to parent her well through this. And for us to be good stewards of all the blessings He is giving us, and good witnesses as well. May God abundantly bless all of you and may your faith be strengthened through this process. Prayer needs: - For our doctor appointment tomorrow: - for the drive to Phoenix and back, - for the possible blood/platelet transfusions - For protection for Lucy while her numbers are low and for her numbers to come back up quickly - For this break to be good, especially emotionally, for all of us
